Fragrance and elegance with a growing summer vibe. The Hangzhou Bay National Wetland Park, located in the Qianwan New Area of Ningbo, is now filled with fragrance of water lilies. Every May, the water lilies in the wetland bloom one after another, like a scroll waiting to unfold, eagerly anticipating the arrival of summer. Lotus leaves quietly grow and cover the lake surface. A few anxious water lilies poke their heads out early and smile shyly. The flowering period of water lilies is long enough to accompany you to welcome the coming summer.
In recent years, the Hangzhou Bay National Wetland Park has created six nature education fields, including the Migratory Bird Museum, Water Forest, and Wanxiang Wetland - Exploration of Local Plants, Fish Science Popularization Corridor, Hands-on Inquiry-based Learning Society, and Stopping Place for Plover Climax by combining the characteristics of wetland plants, birds, and fish. It has 20 doctors in ornithology, botany, local experts, and national nature lecturers, as well as more than 50 nature education volunteers. At the same time, the wetland park has developed the "Hangzhou Bay National Wetland Park Nature Research Textbook" and 12 courses including bird watching, plant watching, insect watching, and night exploration of the wetland, which are suitable for different age groups to experience the wetland.
